2" Drop spindles on Granada swap(???)

It's Spring Break, so I'm gonna finally be tackling my Front Suspension upgrade(6-8 swap) and Granada brakes this week.

I'm doing the Granada swap because a really good friend gave me everything I need brand new. Problem is, the brand new spindles I have are 2" drop spindles(probably Fatman). After doing a search on here, I found that this is probably gonna cause some geometry problems for me.
Does anyone know this for sure, or should I just bolt everything up and see what happens? I have a set of stock Granada spindles I can recondition and use if I have to. But I don't have the stock caliper brackets(if those are diff. than the ones on the drop spindles), and Granadas in junkyards around here are rare anymore.

To make matters worse, I wanted to use spacers and a set of 16x7.5" ~2000 Mustang wheels I have laying around. I've heard about some issues with 16" wheels.
I also want to avoid cutting the fenders.

Thanks,
Paul

I dont think you will have a geometry problem because youre not really changint the suspension geometry. A drop spindle just has a relocated shaft but the geometry is all the same. It wont change the positions or angles of the control arms like the shelby drop and 1 Inch lowered springs do. Usually a 16 inch wheel with more backspacing than stock will interfear with the upper ball joint but i think with drop spindle setup because of the relocation of the spindle shaft you should have more clearance around the upper ball joint. I say go for it
