2 throttle cables?

I dont have a manual yet, but there are 2 cables that go to the TB butterfly. I know which one is the main throttle cable, question is what is the second cable for?

And should it be connected? mine isnt. If it should be where does it connect too, as there are 2 points that it could connect.

One cable is for the throttle, the other one is for the cruise control. Does it have a plastic grey end on it? If so thas the one for the cruise.

Ahhh, yes it does have a grey end on it. Might explain why my Cruise control doesnt work. Thanks.
