I thought that my project was finished. DSS pro bullet 347, aeromotive fuel system, and a ton of other parts. I just picked it up from a shop in columbia sc. A very republe shop. They tuned it for me and did an awesome job. I took it straight to the alignment shop since I put a tubular front k member kit and manual rack and pinion. When I picked it up I drove for 10 mins max. When suddenly I started hearing a bunch of clicking and ticking. It got faster as the rpms increased. It started out rather soft but got very loud. It ran like this for only about 30 secs just long enough for me to turn on my road and coast home.I thought it might be a rocker arm, maybe came off the pushrod. So I pulled the pass. side valve cover off since that is were it sounded like it was coming from. All the rockers are fine. I havent pulled the driver side off yet. I had plenty of oil pressure and temp stayed at 180-190. Sorry for being so long but I need some ideas of what it can be so I can maybe sleep better tonight.
