Hey, I've just posted this cause there are alot of people out there who crap on Stangs with 20's. I know that some look sick. But in my opinion, They're way nicer than those 17" ones.

I've got 20" 3 piece rims on my car with 305 rubber on the rear and I've had nothing but compliments on them and the car.

Anyway here are some pics, tell me what you think....

I think you just need the right rims and setup

I actually like them!! Does the weight of the rim slow you down a little bit when accelerating???

It looks pretty good, but most people's opinion on here is to go no bigger than 18's because these are PERFORMANCE cars.

That is a sweet ride man! I think those 20s look great on it. Better than most with 20s on it. Good job!

I am not a big fan of 20" rims, but your car is tastefully done. To me, they just look too big on the car. Don't get wrong, though ... you have a very cool looking car. So much so that you swayed me into getting the S351 wing (I'd been on the fence between that and S281, after my S281 wing was forcibly stolen from my car this last weekend ... I am still pissed off, but that is a different story and a differentt thread ...).
Nice car.

It all comes down to do you like a big wheel? I do. I dont' see everyone running out and buying 15's because those are lighter than 18's.

I think you car looks great. those wheels look 1000x's nicer than a set of stock bullitts that everybody here seems to be in love with.

as far as performace the wheel size hurts you more than the wieght. you proably have the equivilent of 3.08's with 20's. easily fixed with gears which are a must for these cars anyway. anyone who pulls the whole "performace" card and is still running 3.23's is obviously not as preformace oriented as they think.

Not bad. I too have seen that red stang with the chrome bullitts in 20", and that car looked pretty good. Your 20's have a nice design, and that helps a lot. The post from the other day had some funny looking wheels, and that really made them look bad IMO. I still think that the rims look too big, but you like them and that all that matters. I just think the side wall looks too thin. Like you are driving around on rubberbands. I was even "ify" on going with 18's since they looked funny in all the picutures I have seen. However, after getting them they look great in person. I am sure that 20's look the same way. Look bad in a picture, but IRL the probably look good. I give you a for being different.
