only mods i have on the car are whats in my sig :( . anyways, i was of thinking of having the pi heads p&p later on and maybe even giving it some slight upgrades rather than replacing them with another set of heads altogether.

i'd love to go with lt's, but this thing needs to be smogged in the lovely state of california :notnice: .

well if your going to port the heads anytime soon then it does not make sense to swap on PI heads for now. I would do the cam and intake, the supporting mods and a tune then when you save the money for the ported heads then do the headswap..

Mike is right you mite want to talk to someone how has a PI headswapped
car before you do the PI headswap because the Califorina emissions laws
are very strict. If your NOX is too high you will fail the smog test.

If they test for tailpipe emissions, adding Pi heads that raise the compression to 10.2:1, might raise your NOX, too high to pass.
Californians, with PI swaps might want to chime in here.

his NOX should stay in range... it may go up a little due to the extra heat BUT that can be countered but playing around with the EGR in the tune just to pass then put it back to normal after.

this is where a gas analyzer comes in REAL handy..

I got my ported heads and cams for under 1900.. but once you include shipping itll go over... plus like said any of the smaller parts you'll need. but anyway check patriot out... they have supplied me with a GREAT product. I have had not one of the issues heard of before I bought.
