2000 convertible seats interchangable?

Hi folks,

I've recently acquired a 2000 convertible with a frozen driver seat. I'm thinking of just swapping the passenger seat with the driver seat, does anyone know if this is possible?

I’m pretty sure they are mirror images of each other…placing a couple of the mounting brackets and the seat belt bracket opposite to where you’ll need them to mount the seats. Look under the rear of the seats and at your seatbelt bracket positions. Cheers!

No, it is not.

You cannot swap the seats on the tracks because the seat belt buckles are attached to the track. Therefor the driver's track needs to stay on the driver's side and vice versa

You cannot swap the seats to the tracks because the pass seat is flat, and the driver's seat bottom is stepped. You can use washers as spacers to make this work, but you are lifting the seat up.

The recline and seat flip would be on the wrong side. Can you can swap the seat back to the seat bottom but will require some surgery.
