I just installed a 2000 gt k member in my 91 fox that had the 2.3. it bolted up fine and all but I noticed the rack which is my original fox rack when fully bolted up just barely goes inside the steering shaft where you clamp down that goes to the wheel. I know the racks are lower in the 4.6 members. Does the 4.6 racks have a longer shaft on them? Or do I need a longer steering shaft? And can I get them out of 3.8 cars? Thanks

If you know a good welder they could cut and extend your steering shaft. The shaft also collapses into the column so make sure it will move in and out of the column. They freeze up a lot.
