If the top was black I’d say black but being its parchment then I’d go with a parchment colored bar. Realize I’ve never owned a vert so my opinion is worthless.

I may change the top to black. Only reason I haven’t really is because the current top is essentially new.

Top and bar are on my winter list. TBH I usually drive with top down and the boot on, so top color really shouldn’t be a factor for the styling bar

Only thing that has stopped my from changing interior color is the fact that I don’t want to sit in a black interior with the sun beating down on me

I don't know how you'd go about finding something like this specifically for your car but...

A color combo along these lines would look sweet in that car.

Finally got around to installing the 01+ hood scoop.

Now this car is essentially a 2001+ inside and out. (Never liked the 99/00 look)

I mean it’s nice, but the paint is a 20-footer still. I saved it but it still could use a paint job.

I’ve decided I’m only going to sell it for an S550 GT PP, but right now that’s not in the cards. It’s either sell it and park the funds in the market, or enjoy it for a bit more.

Next week, doing upper axle bushings and new upper control arms.

LCAs will get done when I decide if I’m going Or style replacements or maximum Motorsports sports LCAs.

This thing rides and handles so nice I’d rather not add NVH with aftermarket arms.

When you get to this point, checkout "Candy Black" paint.

It was just something I was sitting here one day wonder if it existed. It's crazy. It sprays on almost clear and darkens as it hardens. I don't think the web images do it justice.

Nah. No more black cars for me. I’ve owned 4. My fox is black. I need some color in my life.

Rounding out my fall to-do list, replacing the upper control arms and axle bushings. Not terrible, but some dry rot and tearing.

Removed one arm, loosened the other. Was about to use the MM tool to start removing the axle bushings on one side and realized I don’t have any anti-seize.

So need to pick some up tomorrow. Soaked the bushings in penetrating fluid for now.

Only thing left to do is rebuild the worn out differential. I bought the kit but I need a pair of donor clutches from the Fox to change how I’ll set up the stack, so first thing I need to do is install the carbon fiber setup in the Fox. I got a stock clutch kit for the SN95

I need to do my uppers as well. Noticed the bushings are looking a little suspect.

Now i look forward to the comments from folks who pick some mundane detail apart because that's what the internet is for.

Well, time to address the one-wheel peel

Initial assessment is the disks aren’t all that worn. I have not measured the stack yet. Diff is filled with clutch material for sure. Replaced the fluid when I did the cobra rear disk brakes but I can tell it’s still in there.

New clutches. Going to take the best from my fox or this clutch set and do the added disk method

Done. Old stacks measured around 0.635” thick. Reassembled the new stack a little tighter at around 0.655”. Got it back together. Hopefully no more one wheel peel.

The new stack was with the extra disc?
