Ok. Been pondering if I sell this thing or not. I might…I might not. I have a number in my head I would let it go at, but want to see if it aligns with others. If not….i keep it for another year.
2000 GT 5-spd convertible.
72K miles. Black, with parchment top and interior.
No dash lights on. Everything works 100%.
Interior has been fully restored. New seat covers, NOS carpet, redyed all the panels. Converted to 01-04 style interior with double din touchscreen. MGW shifter
All suspension replaced except LCAs. Eibach pro-kit. Bilstiens. All other control arms new. Cobra brakes front and rear. 18” cosmis wheels. Cobra 13” spare tire.
Brand new Ford Racing intake (the original design not the Dorman. New valve cover gaskets, new pullies, tensioner, belt, filters, all new fluids. It it can be replaced, it likely was. Long list of parts.
New top. New top motor. Fresh fluid.
Exterior I’ve updated to 01+ style with all the scoops, headlights, spoiler (swapped from an 01), etc. see pics.
Ac works. Had to replace a line and recharged
Needs nothing. I commute to work in this sitting in 1 hr of traffic each way without issue. It’s pretty much stock. Even exhaust is stock.
Negative??? The paint. It’s a 10-20 footer for sure. I paint corrected and ceramic coated it but it’s lipstick on a pig. In person every panel has a a scratch on it. It’s driver grade, not a show car. It photographs nice, but it’s not that perfect in person.
I have a number in my mind I’d let it go for. Just want to see others opinions.
