Hi, I have a question for you 4.6 gurus. My mustang started to make a ticking noise on the passenger side. It is definitely coming from the head. It sounds like a lifter or a valve but only one. Over the winter I had replaced the valve seals but use a spring compression tool and never removed timing chaing or anything with the timing. So this passed weekend I replaced all of the lifters on that side. The noise is still there. The noise is a consistent tick at idle and when reving. I am stuck. Any suggestions on what to try next. Check timing? Make sure the piston isn’t fighting the valve? Thanks guy.
