Does anyone have any good and relatively wallet friendly stall converters for a new edge 01 automatic. Wanna put big cams in it and i need a 2000 plus one. Any help is appreciated.

I think the pa 2400 stall might be one of the more cost effective buys when purchased during an online sale. I have one in both my 04 and my sons 03. Good street manners for mildly modified cars.

its always best to get at least a 3500+ stall for any of the 1994-2019 ford electronic control transmissions. The ecu controls the lockup so even though you may have a 4k stall converter it will still drive like stock when tuned properly.

If your engine is basically stock otherwise with no head work then a large cam is a very bad idea.

I HATE the term "big cam(s)". What are "big cams"? Your car will never lope like a cammed LS motor. Two completely types of motors. Dont do cams if all you want is sound. You will be greatly disappointed while having a significantly lighter wallet

everything about a stock setup is aimed for daily driving hence torque down low

a large cam IMO anything > 300 duration is not going to make any low end torque so it will not be ideal especially for daily driving.

Its up to you. Awesome sound but complete performance-wise. You'll want cams with a high duration (270-is) with a low LSA (110-115). Your car will probably constantly die while idling and will run like crap....
