2001 Cobra clutch kit - question

clutch tight and have to move to floor to engage, Ford dealer says need new kit. $800. I have no time to do it myself, so is that an okay price? should i look at performance kit and have them install it?

Did you try the self-adjusting mechanism prior to taking it into the dealership? $800 sounds a little on the high side IMHO (is that just for parts or does that include parts and labor?).

If your clutch does need to be replaced, definitely try calling a few performance/mustang shops in your area and get price quotes from them as well...
