2001 Continental Engine -> Foxbody

I'm pretty sure you cannot use it as it's built to be mounted FWD as such the motor mount design doesn't fit like a standard mod motor. Which is enough of a project in itself.

Let me correct that,
I would bet it's a Windsor block like anything else. I see that you'd probably have to drill and tap the motor mount holes on whatever side doesn't have it. The accessories and oil filter and all those things will be weird. Oil pan too I imagine. I know the intakes are different and the coil packs.
It CAN be done from everything I see, but I'd hope you were getting the motor really cheap to be worth it

Here's a bunch of info

You cannot use the FWD continental engine.

The block is different from the RWD version of the 4.6L 32v. It will not work in a RWD application.

Toss it in a 2000's Taurus
Odd that ford made a separate casting for that. I've seen people say they have done it. But while anythings possible, it seems far from practical

Yes. Swap cam, distributor, upgrade valve springs, oil filter adapter, all the front dress from your old engine and you are ready to rock. It will bolt up to the t5 or the aod.
