It can also be tied to a chain and used as a boat anchor. That engine would be a horrible choice for a Fox.
^^^^ this x 5Gt40 engine from 302 explorer/mountaineer. Swap cam and a couple other parts it's a solid 60hp over the stock 302 and it bolts right in.
Odd that ford made a separate casting for that. I've seen people say they have done it. But while anythings possible, it seems far from practicalYou cannot use the FWD continental engine.
The block is different from the RWD version of the 4.6L 32v. It will not work in a RWD application.
