So not clicks or anything but will turn over by hand. Honestly it sounds like a dead battery or one that needs charged. Try jumping it.the car will not click or turn over. im pretty positive this is an electrical issue. im being told on other forums that it could be a bad computer or need re-flashed since my pats is flashing and clicking

Do you have the correct key?tried jumping it, starter wire is hooked up. im at a loss so i had the car towed to the ford dealership.
from what i am hearing on other forums this seems like its either an anti theft system problem, or a computer problem.
so ive decided to swallow my pride and let the professionals handle this since ive troubleshot this for hours with no leads... i really feel embarrased because i wanted to do it myself but i want it fixed.

Very odd issue. Its soo hard to troubleshoot **** online! I mean it sounds like a simple fix.
deffinatly sounds like a PATS/ECU problem. The flashing lights is a direct indication of that. Perhaps when you disconnected the battery it screwed something up. Rare, but I have seen it before. It's problem not anything you did, just coincidental that it happened while your car was ripped apart. Good luck bro.
They should be able to tell you what its doing. Don't they have some sort of a diagnostic machine that will tell them what every sensor says?
Just a thought, but did you remove your spark plug wires prior to removing the cam covers for the timing belt change? If so, and you did not draw a wiring diagram, but just hooked them up the way an aftermarket manual said to, there is a very high probability they are connected wrong. Most manuals have an incorrect firing order/wiring diagram listed. Tell the dealership to reference their shop manual for the correct wiring diagram.

The engine will fire up if not timed properly. Doesnt mean it will continue to run though.i took pictures and replaced all the plugs as they were.
would my symptoms of the timing being off just a bit be the car not firing?
