The other day i started the car like normal and noticed the ac fan didnt work. It was on the lowest level so I tried other levels and only high works. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did to fix it. Also the bass went out on the stereo. I am starting to think that maybe its a ground or fuse any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

The resister is a separate replacable component. It is located very near the blower motor and is easily replaceable.

The elements are open and in the air flow within the air box to cool the elements. However, over time, dust and moisture collect on the elements and they rust out.

The blower works on high because full battery voltage is directly passed to the blower motor (bypassing the resister).

Here's a link to a replacement. This same part is used in a lot of Fords.
