Is 13,500 asking to much for a 2001 mustang gt with 35,600 miles? i have tokico 5-way shocks struts and springs-- bbk longetubes,x-pipe and flows??? thanks in advance
it's close, It is a good starting point I'd say but I'd be willing to go a tad bit lower if nobody bites on it at that price. You always want some room to negotiate
just curious, how do you like the bbk headers. i am looking at a set and i like them. how do they sound and how much more power did they give you? where i live that is a cheap price for a 01 GT. GT's are very popular around my area. you cannot find a used one anywhere.
Interesting, I got mine for $12,500 last may and I probably could have gotten it cheaper. This was at a small dealership. I got mine appraised at a ford dealership for $9800 (was curious)
at my local ford dealer has one GT. it is an 02 with over 50,000 miles on it and they are asking 19,900 for it. that is an average price for a GT that is in good condition where i live. it does seem very high but it is true. they will normally sell for that price too. it sounds really stupid doesn't it?
I bought my 01 GT 2 years ago and they were asking $19,999 and I talked turkey until I took it home for $16,500 ( it only had 18,000, miles) This may help
I got my extra-clean loaded 02’ GT still under factory warranty (w/ new rubber and new tinting) with 31,000 miles for 14,900. Speaking of which, what little tricks can be done to inexpensively boost horsepower and performance without putting undue stress on the engine? Chips, new exhaust, etc.?
I just bought my 2001 this past march. It had 18,900 miles, gears, and cold air induction on it. I also had to have it shipped from texas and it cost me a total of $13,200.
I was asking 12,500 for mine with 43k miles...didn't get a single phone call. Then I decided not to sell it. We've got similar mods though, but I don't think that should affect the price any.
I paid 14,500 about 6mos ago, with 42k. I'm not saying that was a great deal, but I wouldn't take 13,500 for mine. But I've only put about 2.5k on it since I bought it.
Bottom line good starting point, but depending upon the market, you may have to go lower. Good market for stangs in my area 3 colleges and 4 military bases.

Picked up my 04 Gt premium a month ago with 23k miles in perfect shape for 18,900. The dealership also gave me an extra grand for my trade to make the deal so I figured I actually paid 17900 for it.
