Hello all! Just created my account tonight, I have an 01 gt that I was going to install a set of SR performance lowering springs. It says it will have an estimated 1.5 inch drop, but may vary. Does anybody think rub my fenders in the front will rub? Thanks.
Depends on tire size as well. Do yourself a favor and get some good 4 bolt caster/camber plates, offset steering rack bushings, and corrected ball joints if you are going that low.
You shouldn't run into any problems with rubbing unless you're running too wide of a front tire like a 275 or larger. Wheel offset would also come into play if your pushed out further than a stock rim. I ran a 275 Nitto 555 w FR500 rims on the front with H & R SS lowering springs and the only time I'd hear a scrub was when I hit a bump at full lock.
