2001 rear wheel width question

i have a 2001 cobra and 94 gt.. on my 94 gt i have 17x9's front which i was told will fit however the rears are 10.5 deep dish...... anyone know how to make them fit? or will they?

The only way to get the meats under the rear on an IRS Cobra is to get the aftermarket IRS bolt. It has a smooth head that saves you 1/2" of room. The 99-04 Cobra guys should know more details and have websites for you.

That is exactly what I used to get my FR500 10.5's and 315's to fit. It will be tight though.

I've heard that if you step the rim up to an 18" and if you're lowered, you'll clear the bolts in most cases.

This is true, but it also reduced your tire choices.

But it will fill out the wheel wells nicer as well. No doubt though, the tire choices are slim.

You can go with 18x10's. I'm running 18x10 FR500's with 295/35 zr18 tires, and it looks great with no clearance issues anywhere.
