I have a 2001 v6 3.8 lt mustang and just recently its bin not starting back up after I drive some where jump out for about ten mins get back in and it just cranks but no start. I would have to wait 45-60 min before it fires up. I changed the cht sensor crank and cam position sensors, egr sensor, dpfe sensor, battery and coil but nothing worked...so please someone shine some light on my situation

I wonder if it could be your fuel pump, but usually those just die. Have your fuel pressure tested and check them with the recommended pressures. Wish I could be of more help.

When it does run how does it idle? Also I know this may be dumb but I wonder if our cars came with an oil level sensor? I had a friend who had a 2002 Ford F150, one day it wouldn't start but would turn over like you described, it turned out that she was low on oil. After we added some oil it fired up. I wonder if your sensor is bad and giving the computer the wrong signal, just a thought.

Hook your fuel pressure gauge back up the rails when you're having the no-start condition.

Turn your key to the "ON" position so that the rails are pressurized. Try starting it again to ensure that it won't in fact, start.

Hit the pressure relief button on the gauge and watch the relief hose as fuel travels out.

If you see bubbles coming from the fuel rails then it's time for a new pump.

I recently put a force induction inline fuel pump on. So air probably got in the line when I had that installed. Where is the fuel pressure gauge located? And how do I purge the line?

Ok... I must have missed something. Is your car boosted? If so, by what?

Please provide a run-down of your engine mods.

I put the pump in so that I could put my procharger in. But then the problem started. The only mods I'm running as of now is bbk cold air intake, bbk 65 mm throttle body, mac long tube headers, spin tech exhaust xpipe, and 4.11 with posi.

The pump is in the line but not powered. So the gas is just flowing threw the nline pump.

Ok... remove this in-line pump or power it. Either one.

Let us know what happens.
