Well selling my two foxbodies and buying an 02 gt with no motor for $3k and buying an 06 3v with 5 spd for 1500 with 80k miles was wanting to put the detroit rockers and have the heads ported by mmr kinda wondering which stage of porting i should go with and do you think this is worth it?
Are you just trying to be different here, or are you set on a modern 3-valve engine? If you're set on a 3V, why not look into a 5.4L 3V instead of the 4.6L. Seems to me you're going to have to do about the same amount of work for either one....might as well add 50lbs/ft plus of torque to the mix in the process.
Well i dont have a 2v engine and i found this 3v with 5spd for cheap and i do want the modern 3v too havent come across a 5.4 one for that price or i would kinda doin some swaps to get the engine so it really isnt costing me out of pocket and will more than likely sell the 5spd attaches to it and get my money back so will have very little money in a 3v ?
I can't remember where but, I know if you search for it on the interwebz, there is a company out there making a kit to make the 3v swap a direct bolt in.
There was a member here that did it a few years ago to his '96 whem the 3V car's first hit the scene? I can't for the life of me remember who it was....he hasn't posted in a while, but I'm sure if you do a search some of his posts will pop up?
