I am looking to replace my axles with a 32 Spline set and an Auburn or Eaton Differential. All of the axles that I've looked at do not have the exciter ring that's required for the ABS. (1) Does anyone know if the Exciter Ring from my old axles can be removed and pressed on the new axles? (2) Where can I purchase new exciter rings? The Ford dealership says that you can't buy them separate. (3) Any one have any pros or cons on an Auburn or an Eaton Differential.

I had some 31 spline Moser axles made with abs ring adapters on them for about $230 from a local speed shop near me. The trans shop that put everything in told me there would be a chance that he might ruin the tone rings when pulling them off of my old axles, but they were fine.

I was running a full Eaton locker with 4.10s, and it was bulletproof. I was very happy with the way it came out. Get your axle tubes and torque boxes welded up when everything is done, then some subframe connectors and control arms, and do 5k clutch drops on slicks. It will be fun!
