Hey folks and my apologies for the newb question, but if any of you guys know and have done it, asking you will save me some time and wriggling under the car. I want to put Flowmaster 40 series cans on an '02 GT convert with a fully stock exhaust system, what size inlet/outlet and what inlet/outlet position is correct for the '02 GT?

Cheers :nice:

Already have and found a lot of threads on pros and cons of different cans and systems, but none on the specific dimensions of Flowmaster 40's for a stock system. Also called my local shop, the kid at the counter did the "You need... Oh wait. Umm... Ya this is the one, I think, ya I think so. Wanna buy em?"

So again, if anybody's just done this swap, and a lot of folks have, I'd appreciate their input, thanks.

Stock would be 2.25", but most people opt for the slightly bigger 2.5" and any muffler shop can weld these in for you without any issue. You want offset/offset whereas the offsets are on opposite sides. It's the Flowmaster 42543.
