So I went to put my window up today and lock my car, and my driver's side window didn't do anything. I tried slamming the door a few times and still nothing. Drove home and tested the wires and had power to the motor, and the motor was getting hot but not even making a sound.

I know I'm younger than most, but isn't 60k and 8 yrs a little soon for a window motor to be going bad?

Is there a certain company you guys buy new window motors from?

I don't think there is a minimum age to replace a window motor,I had to replace one at 48,000.
