Ok so I didnt go with the saleen supercharger kit, I looked around and saw that people said the same thing so I kinda steered clear. But if anyone is still reading this thread I found a P1sc Procharger kit used with injectors, mass air and intercooler for $3000? anyone think that is a good deal? the head unit is polished.

no there is no tune with it, but these kits are like over $4000 new for a polished kit without injectors and mass air. the mass air is a 90mm SCT and the supercharger is self contained lubercant.

I'm sorry, I said it was a little high because a lot of us "do-it-yourselfers" will scrap around and put together a supercharger system for around $1500-$2000. But thats mainly because of experience with installing these, knowing the value of individual parts, knowing where to find individual parts, having left-over parts and so on. I was speaking from that stand point. But on the realness, that is PROBABLY a decent deal. These supercharger systems decrease in value once they are used. It is a polished unit but that really doesn't mean a lot to some people out there unless you're gonna make it a show car. Also, it's a P1SC so it's the entry level kit. These kits usually fetch around $1800-$2200 on ebay with everything included (even the tuner). Even the upgraded D1SC kits don't bring in 3G's when they are used. I'd say talk the guy down to around 2G's. If no deal then I'd say take your time and do some research and price around just to make sure you're getting the best deal possible. Anyone else have any recommendations...??

I agree. I'm also not 100% but I think the vortech S trim can output more power than the PS1C?

We'll anyways I bought my vortech V2 kits used for $1800 on ebay 1 1/2 years ago. You should still be able to get one for that price or at 2k. I wouldnt pay more than 2k for it unless it comes with a tuner. My kit was complete with fuel injectors just no fuel pump. I didnt need the injectors so I sold them bringing my overall cost down.
