I keep seeing auctions on e-bay where people take the struts and springs off their 02 GTs. Some of these auctions say they're fit the 87-93 stangs, but others just say 94 and up....what's the deal? Could I buy some of these and stick them on my 87 GT? Thanks

I have heard that they will fit. I have never tried them myself but i think it will be ok.

Would there be an advantage to the newer style ones as opposed to aftermarket struts/springs other than price?

Not sure about the springs, but you "can" use the struts and shocks. The struts are a bit longer than the Fox ones, so you really can not use them with lowering springs or they will bottom out. I have Bullitt struts and shocks with stock springs on my car, but with SN95 spindles that mount the struts lower down.

I've used 'em with success. I bought the struts/shocks your talking about on eBay...they bolted up perfectly and I really like them. If you want to maintain a stock ride, you can't go wrong with $50 and a few hours of work. However, like previously stated, pass these up if you car is lowered.

cool. Yeah, I don't plan on lowering it anytime soon, I just need a quick fix to my ghetto bounce ride I got going on right now and suspension is new to me. Thanks!
