2003 Convertible Top To Manual

My Convertible top will not go up. I don't have the money right now to fix it. Can some one tell me how to disengage the top from the top motor so I can open and close it by hand?

I've never tried it, but I assume unhooking the hydraulic cylinders would let you manually operate the top....here's a write up on Stangnet that should get you started:
