2003 gt and traction control

As most of u no i wrecked my car.....well tomarrow im going to look at a 2003 GT, i read that the traction control is standard...... I can shut that off with the touch of a button right? Shut the traction control off that is.

yeah....traction control....i laugh. Ive put that thing to the test.

but yeah, you can just shut it off. kinda annoying though.

The traction control is a PIA and is no fun when trying to run the car hard. Most of your quality tuners can shut it off permanently for you. That's what I did.

easy to turn off, but I've only done it once so far. It has saved my butt 100's in the month I've had my car though... I drive way to hard for the weather....

i dont think traction control is standard. my 04 gt does not have TC or abs for that matter. i am glad i dont have TC as i turn it off no matter what car i drive, but i miss the abs from my 94.

Just turn it off in a tune because if you ever go to the track while you are in the staging lanes you will turn off the car and forget to turn the traction control back off when you start back up and then you got one crappy time slip.

I think that ABS/TC became an option for '04. Possibly, it is "deluxe" vs. "premium" versions of the GT?

My '03 GT came with it.
