I am considering purchasing a 2003 or 2004 Cobra coupe.
I can get a new 2004 coupe for about $32,500.00 (invoice - holdback)
I also found a "new" 2003 Sonic Blue coupe with 3,800 miles. This car was driven by the owner of the Ford dealership and would be sold as new. The warrantee would start on the date of sale. I could purchase this for 29,500.00 after the 1,500.00 incentive from Ford. My own source financing would be at 3.9% for both cars.
Essentially, I can save about 3K with the 2003. I expect the time to be more of a factor on the warantee for me since this will be a weekend car.
The sonic blue color is gaining my preference. I have not seen any 2004 Cobras in sonic blue yet. How many made in this color? I am leaning towards the 2003 but could afford the 2004 also.
Any suggestions from owners who considered similar choices?
