2003 Z06 Should I buy it?

lets put it this way... i looked for a c5 z06, couldnt afford car or insurance, so i looked for a base c5, couldnt afford insurance, looked at a cobra, couldnt afford insurance, ended up w/ a slow GT...

Z06 is another class of car, the only GM car i would take over it is a Vauxhall VX220 just because i come from a background of Fiero's and the VX220 is like the new fiero but w/ a 2.2 turbo

oh and in stock trim the mustang is a pig at turning... fiero > mustang well it did untill i put my big tires in the back haha

but a Z06 is 600+lbs lighter, handles much better, and brakes much better. it's just a superior platform for a performance car. power is but one aspect.


i'd go with the Z06.

Cobras make easier hp, but Vettes don't need as much power to put to the ground. It's not uncommon for a zo6 to beat a Cobra that is making nearly 100 more rwhp.

I would probably go with the ZO6, just an all round sweet car, style power and prestige.
