Hey guys. Im new to this whole forum thing but am happy to have joined and am interested in being apart of it. I have an 04 roush mustang that Im currently having a small issue with.. right now my radio wont turn on and the dome lights attached to the rear view dont work. As well as the trunk lights. Ive already replaced all fuses relating to these items but they still dont work. Everything on the dash works fine and no other electrical issue exist. In doing some research im starting to think it may be that I need to replace the g.e.m but other things it controls works fine. If anyone knows what may be the source or what I should check next let me know. Unfortunately im going to be out of town for a bit and wont immediately be able to work on suggestions given. But want to get an idea as to how to tackle this once im back.

Burnt out bulbs, bad grounds, and check the connection of the wiring on the back of the radio. Also, does the cigarette lighter fuse also power the radio? I know they did this on the older Mustangs.

The cigarette lighter has its own fuse seperate from the radio. Ill have to check the wiring on the back of the radio. Should I use a multimeter to check if the connection harness is getting power to the radio?

I’m not terribly familiar with the 96 and up cars so I’m moving this to that forum.

Dome lights on rear view mirror- I'm assuming this is a convertible right?

Radio issues, factory CD-6 radio still, mach 460/1000 etc?

Time to start probing wires/connectors for power. Hopefully the radio was installed with correct connectors and not cut/spliced.
