I am having some issues with my wifes v6 04 mustang. She reported she started smelling a burning smell on the way to work this morning while the A/C was set to Max. The air flow was very low accompanied by the smell. When she switched it to regular A/C the burning smell dissipated and the airflow for that setting was correct. I havent had a chance to look at it yet but figured I would check in here. I leave for a business trip in the morning so its going to be an all nighter to fix it if possible. We live in Texas and she would murder me otherwise
I know the A/C on regular pulls air from outside the cabin and Max A/C circulates air from inside the car. Is there an easy way to get to the venting system from inside the cabin to see if anything is lodged in the intake? A little bit of a car repair noob but the internet hasnt failed me yet. Thanks all!!! Will report back with my findings.
