Bolt on rear yoke ,no fluid to get on youI agree it might be easier to pull them as an assembly
But you are going to get pissed on by trans fluid out the tail shaft bad
Maybe find another driveline yoke to use while you pull it out
If it has a blue oval, it probably does not need a blue pill.It runs ,but i noticed a problem ,the 05 harnes has one plug in different from the motors 07 harness so it looks like i have to change the engine harness . The cluster reads limp mode ,i will hook up my code reader and if i cant find the problem i will stuff a viagra down the throttle body ,that should get it out of limp mode!?!?
I went ahead and swapped the harness ,now i have a plug by the oil pan and the new 07 motor doesnt have the plug in like the 05 has . Is this a low oil warning sender and can i simply jump it ,i sure as hell dont want to have to change oil pansThe problem is likely the mismatched harness plugs. Are the plugs for the same things? Can they be adapted to mate?

I am wondering if i can just take a sensor and plug it in and it would be good ,i guess it is an oil temp sensor ,as long as it doesnt show overheating i would think it would be goodDrill a hole, add an o-ring, and install a level sensor if you've got a mind to have it working.
