I didnt like these wheels at first ,but they are kind of growing on me . There is quite a bit of weight to go back into the car so it will come down a bit in the rear but i think it needs to be lowered a couple of inches
This was not supposed to be a complete repaint ,but the car comes apart so easily i figure why the hell not!
I need a trunk lid fake gas cap for a Gt if anyone has one ,the one i have is for a GT350 . I bought new fender badges today ,supposed to be in tomorrow
Everything but the bumpers and rocker covers ready to get sprayed first thing in the morning ,i moved the car out this morning that red is really bright !
The only thing left is the bumpers and plastic pieces . I had a bit of fish eye start in coat number two of clear on the hood ,a bit of flow adative and it filled them in on coat number 3 .
I am going to have to buff the body and the rest of the pieces and bolt them on before i can do the bumpers ,i dont have the room to store everything out of harm .
Color sanded ,buffed with compound then buffed with polish and it probably glows in the dark! Still needs hand glaze and waxing a little on down the road
First fender buffed to a glossy red mirror. Brand new GT badges for the fenders ...40 bucks a piece ! For that price they better look damn good up against that red ...looks like ford lucked out this time !
Buffed out the hood and trunklid and bolted them on . There is no adjustment for any body panel on this thing ,it simply bolts in place and fits very well .
Last pieces painted ,everything went perfect right up to the last coat of clear ...when a little black bug decided to stick his ass to the rear bumper . Good thing i saved about an ounce of paint and some clear because i will gave to sand him out and air brush his ass print back in ,STUPID BLACK BUG !%$@@$ !
Front and rear bumpers are bolted on ,so is the rear spoiler and hood scoop. The interior is finished ,just the tail lights ,grill and fuel fill door left .
