Has anybody successfully put these wheels on their car????? Saleen is offering wheels & tires for $299.00. A guy told me he bought 1.25 spacers and they worked fine on his 65 mustang...

I have them on my '65 Fastback w/ 2" spacers. The tires fit well in the rear but way too tall in the front. You will have to swap them out. I havent driven it yet so I dont know if there are any clearance issues (I dont think there should be)

Do you have to call to get the special price? I tried to order on the website but it listed them at 425, I put in the discount code but it did not come up. I'll try calling them on monday. I just wasn't sure if that deal was over, does anyone know?
Thanks,
Jamie

Just ordered a set from Saleen! $299 + $150 shipping.
They are out of the 05/06 GT Gray (anthracite) wheels. Said they are shipping the 07 and they are silver. 5-7 weeks for delivery.
I believe today was the last day you could order at this price!

LONN17 or anyone else -- Any pics of them on your ride????

2" spacers? Is that safe?

How unsafe can it be if you dont drive the car? I havent moved the car more than about 3' since I installed them 6 months ago. From the research that I had done before purchasing them the consensus seemed to be that 2" is the max that is safe.

I personally dont feel there will be any problems just based on the way I drive/treat the car. On the other hand I am collecting parts to put a turbo'd 350 in my S10 which I will do nothing but abuse. I wouldnt want any spacers at all in that.

voipguy: PM me you email and I will get you some pics. I have a set of kumhos to swap on in place of the stock tires but have yet to get to it. .

I purchased mine on ebay for $137 shipped from sscramblin (909) 825-2818.

*After going through my paperwork I found I ended up w/ 1.5" spacers and not the 2" I previously stated.
