It doesn't even have the 3 Mustang light bars though, it blocks one...

It is no doubt a great performer but last time I say a front end like that it was pushing snow off the roads. A bit too garish for my tastes - I'd prefer a more subtle body kit.

the lines for a body kit are just not there for the 05. all the tunere, saleen roush , steeda are having trouble making this car look good. they are trying, but it just ends up looking like crap. i think i even seen a boyd coddington version or somthing and that looked bad also. best thing for the new stang is to get some wheels and drop it and tint it. thats it. makes me wonder if the cobra or any special editions will look this bad. i think the only edition that will make it work will be shelby, cause of the old school look and he can just make it look like elenore.

the 99-04 has the better body lines, time to admit it.

Not my cuppa (tea)... too busy.

I'l lecho the sentiment elsewhere and say I think all the 05 really needs is:

-drop the car an inch or so
-add decent 17 / 18 inch 5 spoke wheels with a bit of a deep dish to them
-fattest rubber you can fit out-back without rubbing
-fix the ugly ass stock muflers that hang down
-add a ducktail spolier
-stripe package if that's your thing
-functional hood scoop if you like that

That rear end is hard to look at . It looks like thier should be missle launcher or machine guns coming out of all those holes. And, maybe that huge spoiler thing is a shield to deflect bullets?

BTW, whats wrong with the Saleen covering the inside taillight bulb? It is rarely even used and gives it a different look. People blackout the whole brake light set.

that thing is so bad its unreal. its got all kinds of fake crap on it and it doesnt look like anything other than a squirelled over , overdone piece of junk

The fact that the aftermarket "tuner" companies can't do anything except for small mods like louvers doesn't say that the 99-04 has better "lines". In fact, it says just the opposite. When you take a car, and can't make it look any better, that's a well designed vehicle.

or incredibly ugly and you can't do anything with it. there's 2 sides to that.
like a civic. you put a body kit on but it's still freaking ugly.
