I have a 2006 GT and was thinking of putting FlowMasters on it, so I was around town checking prices. Well, come to one place that has been doing exhaust for a good thirty years (many mustangs) and was told that although the flowmasters sound great, they cause a loss of horsepower on the newer motors (read 05-06). Does anyone know firsthand if this is true or not (maybe a dyno before/after installation of flowmasters). I looked on the flowmaster website and didn't see any performance numbers for the exhaust, so I started second guessing myself on which mufflers to get. FYI...I'm thinking about aero-turbines now. Got to hear them and not bad, but not quite as loud as I usually like and cost a little bit more (199.99 a piece). So, if anyone has a suggestion (just want new mufflers, not a whole new system) let me know. Any sound bites would be great too. Thanks. P.S. On a side note, anyone know how to change your username?
