Hey everyone. I have a buddy with an 06 GT and he just bought an offroad x-pipe. I'm going to help him install it, and it's been a while since I've been in the mustang game so I started doing some research on MIL Eliminators for the 06 and have come up with nothing.

I did a search on google and this forum and this is what I've read:
1) some people say they're available (plug in style BBK)
2) some say that you need a Diablo tuner
3) some say the plug in style MILs are not available because they are illegal
4) some say that Diablo tuners can't modify O2 sensors, because they were forced to remove that option by law

So naturally, I'm a little confused. What do we need to do to fix the problem when his CEL comes on?

Thanks.

I know this, When I got the SCT/SF3 Tuner with the 93 Race Tune, my O2 sensors are turned off, I have an O/R X pipe no CEL.

I you cant turn of the 02 sensor with the diablo and I am pretty sure it's the same thing with the SCT. You will need to have a tuner either by email or by dyno to turn off the rear 02 sensor. This isn't necessary but you may get a CEL

The SCT has where you can turn off the rear o2 in the strategy tunes but if you are running a Custom tune strictly for your car then you are going to have to have that tune rebuilt to turn off the CEL. not sure about the diablosports though.
