Yea - Rangers and Flyers are better at the expense of Buffalo.
I HATE living in a small market town with no money!

Oh yea - guess you have me beat..for now.

Here's where we sit though - we almost lost the Sabres 3 years ago (before the lockout) when the old owners went bankrupt (Adelphia), we almost lost the Bills in '99, and my biggest concern is that we could lose both teams in the near future because of a declining population. The sports scene could get bad really quick.

So - here we are for records as of today:

Bills: 1-4
Sabres: 0-2

Whoo hoo - lets hope for a great summer '08 with the AAA Bisons!!!!

Flyers are 1-1...Briere signing looks like gold right now as he has 3 goals in 2 games. I'm a realist, i can se this team sneaking into the playoffs as a number 7 or 8 seed, the only weakness I can see is the coach. Will Marty Biron be a number 1 goalie?

I don't think thats a "gold" signing. Thats just as bad as signing Dipietro to 15 years! Think about it, 8 years is a long time. I'm sure he will produce for a good 3 - 4 years but good luck unloading him when he stops producing. He's 30 this year and doesen't have the same supporting cast he did in Buffalo.

97-98

After the first year there was the limo accident that badly injured Vlad Konstantinov and the team masseuse Sergei Mnatsakanov. They made it a point to win the next year for Vlad and Sergei.

He hasn't played for the Ducks since the 02-03 season. He went to Colorado for a year and then to Nashville for two years. Like SRMobile said, he's playing for the Blues this year which means he's still in our division.

Thats cool.

I was going to guess the Red Wings since I know they have been pretty dominet or were for quite awhile but I had no idea what years it was.
