o.k. the question is:
which yields a better head, CNC porting, or porting by hand?
i am getting some heads to go on a built, stroked, 4.6 liter (now 302 c.i.d) Teksid aluminum block.
my ultimate destination is a twin turbo setup, i will be putting some turbo cams (most likely from comp. cams)
my ultimate will be to have a DD tune of about 500-600 hp, and a track tune of about 700-800hp.
is it better to get a set of heads that are
1) CNC ported, or
2) ported by hand, and flow tested before/after, to document the gains.?
