I have a pypes mid muffler system and im trying to decide on whether or not to get an offroad X or an offroad H...i know the difference between the two, but i cannot make up my mind until i hear both. I have already heard it with an offroad H.....and im dying to hear what it sounds like with and X....does anyone have any sound clips of the exhaust with preferably a Pypes offroad X? Thanks!

Don't bother with an X Pipe on that setup. It will sound like crap. That system was specifically engineered to give you the older pushrod Mustang sound. An x pipe will make it higher pitched and raspy. There's a reason you can't find a clip.

I dunno......I haven't heard an X-Pipe on any Modular Mustang sound bad yet. I like the higher pitch growl of the X-Pipe over the droney burble of an H-Pipe in most cases.

I've always felt H-Pipes belonged on Fox's and 10-second Race cars, but the X-pipes sounded soooo much nicer on the street.

Ok, I spoke too soon. I did not realize the M-80's were a straight-thru design. I still think the h pipe sounds better, but I did some research and found out they were straight thru, and found a clip also. X pipes gets trumpets pretty bad. But, in the end, it's whatever you like.
