Svt driver its not a neon its an SRT-4. Get it right buddy. For everyones info. those numbers you guys are looking at are for the 03 not the 04 which is faster why dont one of you guys meet me at the track and will race our cars (for fun) Ill bring a video camera and then we can post them on your forum. Cars have to have just about same mods. So here i am calling out you ford boys, anyone exept the challenge?

This is cool and the pic of the Camero concept is nice, but GM will probably do like they did with the SSR - price it beyond the average person's reach so only the elderly retired folks with money (nothing against the aging boomers with the bucks) can afford it.

At least Ford is keeping things real. The rice is bland; needs something to spice it up a bit, or an entirely new dish

I can't wait until I can buy my '05 and let the engine do my talking...

Actually, the article title is "Dodge Neon SRT-4" so, yes, it is a Neon. And, it's expensive for a NEON. So... I guess the name Neon carries some bad connotations for you? Neon Neon Neon. It is what it is.

He got flushed because he acted like a troll...critics are OK, trolls aren't. SRT4Life is a troll just like CarrollShelby. His only purpose is to try to justify his purchase of a NEON by trying to convince us it's better than a Mustang. I personally don't care that he drives a NEON. It's his money. objectively, the srt4 is a damn quick fwd rocket that is capable of competing w/ a lot of "sports cars" including -'04 mustang gt's. they can also be made REALLY quick, fast perhaps, w/out too many bolt ons. yes, it is a neon...and denail is a river in Egypt. i like the srt, and am waiting till reports come out on the 05 gt to make up my mind on which car to buy next year.

ive been a member of srtforums for 1 1/2 years, there are a lot of cool, matureb guys on there. there are also a lot of hotheaded kids that are drawn to the srt because "it is the fastest car for under 21k" evar! lol.

ireally like that vintage green color the gt comes in...

HAHAHAHA your more of an idiot that i even imagined.

A cobra is a mustang...just like a SRT-4 is a neon. If you take out the drivetrain and the seat mods and look goodies you've got a pos neon and that will never change.

BTW, i noticed that the neon is now selling for 21k instead of 20k. Prices going up for the same vehicle...btw when they say its faster they just upped the boost which you were already going to do when you got it yourself...basically just taking your mod potential away by making it factory.

I dont care if the the neon was a full second faster than the new 05 Gt id STILL buy the GT because it will have about 4 fold better build quality. I dont know if you've driven the new f150 yet but if you get a chance get in one. Its like a cadillac or lincoln luxury in a pickup truck with a very tightly fit interior. Thats where Ford is heading with new vehicles and their research and development dollars.
