5 miles in 16 years, cobwebs included? Gonna need a huge cleanup and nice detail of engine and underside with pics. We talking nice kept garage or rat's nest??

My 2 cents
Without real pics of said car ...so...
25k lower side to 38k higher side...lots of low mileage gt 500s available right now and whatnot.
But still offering 2 cents in hopes ya take it

Who the eff drives a GT500 5 miles and then parks it???

If it's yours, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Gentleman purchased car new. Obviously to put away and hopefully watch it appreciate. He has passed on and now widow/family has. Window sticker in place. Kept in garage and needs wash and detail. Looks great under the dust. I currently own a 2007 Roush Stage 3, which is much more rare as fewer were built. It is currently for sale too. I am a little concerned as to what will be wrong with car after sitting for 16 years.
What would you think the problems might be? Gas, battery, tires, other mechanical issues?? Car is not in good position to get decent pictures. Plan to get more today.
Thanks for help.

Gas, fuel injector cleaning, fuel lines/rail flush. Tires, oil/filter, trans fluid, diff fluid, brake flush.
If stored in a climate controlled environment, then probably not much else.
It will fetch more than MSRP and probably by a bunch.

I think one of the kids needs to sit on it for a few more years.

More folks are doing that these days which is why it may not have appreciated as much as expected however, to the right person.... $$$

My advise would be to find yourself an exotic-ish automobile reseller near you.

Don't clean it, don't drive it, don't do anything to it. Get a car appraiser out to the site and let them help you from there.

If you have no idea who, what, when, or where to start then I would start with the appraiser. Look for one in your area and if that fails, call AAA and see if they can help you get started.

I expected a few of those. It was NOT climate controlled, so what other surprises might pop up? Hope to have more pictures later.
Thank you Bullet347 and Noobz347.

Where in the Country was it stored?
Dry warm Arizona?
Hot/Cold humid NE?
Somewhere in between?
I had to get a heat pump put in my garage to keep the humidity down, otherwise mold/mildew started showing up on everything.

Virginia, so usually 4 seasons weather wise. I guess I'm trying to understand worse case scenario as to possible problems to help make correct offer. Got a few more pics today and started up engine. Thanks again.

I was wrong. Told now it is in climate controlled garage. So hopefully just minimal work is needed. Thanks again for the advise.
