200mph safety questions

Thanks for all the input. As long as I can get to 100 in the first 1/2 mile, I should be ok. At 95mph I have roughly 500lbs of downforce on both the front and rear of the car.

This, luckly happens to be right at about where the turbo (should) do the normal spike where it hits its efficiency curve when in 4th gear. ~ 4,400rpm. By 100mph I estimate I will be putting roughly 575 to the rear. If the tires hold, I will be able to push from 100 to 155 in 4th gear (shift at 7k RPM) very quickly, yet still stay over 4,400RPM when I shift into OD.

My catch 22 is this...

-I don't know the rate at which my downforce from the belly pan will change. Assuming that it is a 1:1 ratio, then I should have a total of 2,000lbs of downforce at 200mph.

-I do not know at what rate downforce affects drag.

-The front of the car compresses less than the rear due to the affects of the belly pan and my spring rates. The angle of attack affects overall down force. Higher rear, more downforce, lower rear, less. So, will this work out to be a good thing by keeping excess downforce and drag in check? Or will it get to the point where I have a positive angle of attack (nose higher than rear) and launch me into the blue?

-slicks or something with deep tread? No clue which is better on the salt.

Steve- I kinda want to go to Bradenton for the races next weekend but if you could fit the SFC's into your schedule, I would rather have those done. Let me know, and thanks.
Blacksheep- I keep thinking I'm gonna stop over one of these weeks but I never do. You guys got anything going on this weekend? Oh and I'm buying the kit used for a hell of a price and I'll be having Sam at Coastal tune it. I've had some problems with Race Related. I've heard from many, many people that they do excellent work over there but I'm not going back. But thanks for the heads up with KB being poor in the customer service dept.

I could do them one of these weeknights.
Do you want round or square tube? (I suggest round)
and do you want it all fancy powdercoated? If so, that wont happen in time.
If you just want some kick a$$ SFC's with Krylon's Best on them, then I'm your guy. Give me a call this weekend and we'll talk.

The belly pan will also help with the Cd numbers and prevents air from creating lift from under the vehicle. You should also have the front the same or lower that the back. I would get as much down force as you can. Are you spoiler adjustable? What are you doing to help you stop from this speed? I would talk to people who have done this before.
