YouTube - Strictly Performance 2010 Mustang Dyno: 280bhp!

Im assuming its a M5, it dosent say but the Autos seem to be in the 255 range.

281 RWHP

Alot better than the 05-09s, these seem to be around 325-330 range in BHP.

A M5? Its not a BMW..stick to manual or auto. Saying "M5" is how the tools that drive 350Z's or G35's would say it to make it sound "cool"

The Nissan crowd "350Z - 370Z-G35" would probably use 6M Sorry if my terminology offended you, but most ppl do use the terms 5M,6M, A4,A5,A6....just abbreviations bud.

I have been on many many forums over the past 12 years.

Cant say I have ever heard of transmissions being referred to as M5, M6, A4, A6....etc.

seems like I would be talking about BMWs and Audis if I put that up there.

Thats like saying "my TPI mustang" (tuned performance intake) when referring to an aftermarket intake. Are 8 cylinder hybrids called G8s? (green 8s?)

The M6 and A4 are acronyms for camaros are corvettes transmissions. I've always seen them described that way. Try frequenting the camaro boards and see how many people DONT list their specifics in their signatures with those letters and numbers.

EDIT: LOL, read SS02's signature for proof of how 90% of chevy guys call it!

So did we ever confirm that this was in fact a manual and not an automatic? I'm more interested in results the manuals are putting down.

Manuals tend to get about 5% more power to the tires than the automatics, so 280 rwhp would likely be a manual trans (that's about 325-330 flywheel hp).

Yes, it was a Manual....

Ive seen several Auto pulls and there all in the 250 Range.

For comparison, 05-09 GT automatics (like mine) tend to put about 240-245 hp to the tires when stock. I gained about 125 rwhp last year with the addition of a basic non-cooled supercharger, though. These 4.6's really love boost and it won't be long before we start seeing a lot of 2010's getting blowers installed.
