Ford has finally released info about the 2010 Mustang. Its at 2010mustang.com

Not too much information now...but theres some:

They're still trying to keep it a bit secretive, but are slowly releasing images and such.

Everyone has an opinion. About Mustangs, mine are as follows:

64 1/2 - 68 are "alright".
69 - 70 are badass.
71 - 73 are butt ugly.
74 - 78 are "alright".
79 - 93 range from "alright" to the bee's knees depending on year and model.
94 - 98 can be sexy as hell if done right.
99 - 04 see 94-98
05 - current - Meh. Probably my least favorite this side of the 71 73 LTDStang.
Here's hoping the '10 model spices things up a bit.

The wife and I were #1 on the waiting list at our local dealer to get a GT500. When the pictures came out, we cancelled our order and got our deposit refunded. We weren't willing to give up one of the cars we have to put one in the garage. To me, S197's all look the same, regardless of model or trim: Ho hum.

Thats right on...69' GT-500 is one of my favorites. Everybody else seems to get all hot over 67's but I like the look of the 69'
To be honest I did like the s197 apon arival, drove one and liked it but just didn't do it for me like the fox. But now that I see the new ones at every show and listen to these "new Mustang" owners talk about there "mods" and all this other stuff I have heard enough. These new guys just don't strike me as Mustang guys, simply...guys that could afford a new mustang. Not all of them, i mean 87ttopstang has one and a few other guys from this board, but outside of that and a limited number of others i think its a different cut of people. Will I someday own a S-197? Who knows, I'l be looking for a Terminator before that but the Fox will still be in the garage...I'm almost sure of that.

If that's what it looks like, i think it's being very hyped up. The difference in sheet metal doesn't seem all that much to me.

It better have a 5.0 under that hood
