Hey Stang Lovers,

I am going to be ordering a 2011 5.0 RTR and I was just curious of what everyones thoughts were on this car. I know a lot of us like to go fast in a straight line but there is also the big auto X crowd as well. Personally I think that the mods that you are getting for 8K are absolutely worth it, and that's why I am picking one up. Please let the discussion begin!!

I have no idea how good it is, but judging by all the other Ford Mustang products, I'd say you can't go wrong.

Only select dealers but yes they can and they are only 8K more than the base price. Also check out Ford Mustang RTR for all the info and the select dealers!

Here is a picture of Vaughn Gitten, Sr's 2010 RTR. Vaughn, Jr. gave it to his dad as a Father's Day present. Vaughn, Jr is a member of Mustang Club of Maryland. A couple of guys in the club got to drive it and raved over the whole package and especially the handling.

The front black lip looks too cheap. They should work on that.

For 8 grand extra though, that's a lot of dough you could make your 5.0 very tight with. Unless you are only going for the looks... not sure.

I was interested in one, but was concerned about how low it was to the ground. It has a 1.5" lowering, and those lower spoilers will bring it even closer to the ground.

Other than that, I think it's a beautiful package, and really is only $6k more than a CS. Lots of handling upgrades as well.
