Help! I have a 2013 5.0 with 19000 miles, and about a year ago I had a Pro charger installed. It has been running good till recently, it has developed a severe misfire. I took it to our local Ford dealer, and they agreed to let their tech work on it after hours since it has been modified. He has not been successful tracking down the problem. after extensive testing this is what he has determined: There is no indication of internal engine damage, all bores are clean, no blow by, no coolant in oil etc. no rattles. What he has found is the right hand bank, cyls 5-8 are low on compression, and has indicated he feels we have a VVT cam timing problem. He changed out the intake cam phaser on that bank, and did not cure problem, he has also inspected tensioner on the same bank, and all good. He is telling me that he is about to button up the car and give it back not running. Has anyone on here have any suggestions/ thanks
