I just got a slightly used 2013 GT and I swear it has the skip shift feature. At low speeds and low RPMs it will go right to 4th from 1st and not let me go to 2nd no matter how hard I try. It only does it once in awhile and I cant reproduce it as of yet. I heard Ford got rid of the skip shift feature for 13-14 but mine was made in late 2012 so maybe its still there?
It has a Hurst shifter which I'm not a fan of so I don't know if it could be related. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to tell for sure if its there or not?
