2015 Gt Clutch Question

I dont mind the pedal pressure but I dislike the very narrow engagement window immensely. While I dont have an issue using this clutch, there is little reason the window needs to be this narrow and no reason at all that it should engage so far out. Especially in a vehicle that typically finds it's way on to the 1320. My shifter complaints stem from the fantastic location and height of the stock '11-14 units that were literally perfectly positioned (you could also easily reach the audio and a/c controls with your hand on the shifter). It was far superior ergonomically. The current setup is certainly usable but they took a step back in this area.
 
I think the clutch is fine however the engine holding revs for a couple seconds really threw me off at first. I'm used to catching the rpms on their way down the revs and being smooth with the transition between clutch and accelerator. This car you can let off the accelerator push in clutch shift let out clutch then hit the accelerator and the shift is still smooth. So weird to me at first.
